We loved this hotel. Everyone was friendly, the room was clean, and the ocean view was beautiful. The coffee cart in the lobby had a nice local touch (Spam musubis!). It's also located on the west end of Waikiki closer to Ala Moana shopping center, so you can somewhat avoid the Waikiki traffic. There is a National and Alamo office conveniently located right across the street. One regret is that we didn't get to try any of the hotel restaurants or spa services this time. We stayed at another Prince Hotel (Maui Prince) for our wedding several years ago and had a similarly great experience.

Room just needed to be more updated. Funny smell when we first walked in but realized it was the seafood/sushi buffet on 2nd floor. Walking distance to shops and the mall but had to walk next door to the Hiltons for beach access. Their pool wasn't exciting-it was kind of plain in fact and I think only 3.5 or 4 feet deep. Room had great amenities. They provided you with sewing, shaving kit and their shampoo set was nice n minty. Towels were big huge sheets. You can also save a lot of money by stocking a small empty fridge they provide you with. I didn't like the fact that they didn't have wifi. I couldn't plug my computer directly so I had to keep going downstairs in their business area and pay $0.20 per minute to use their desk tops to check my emails. Also a cafe/food was not available 24hrs within the hotel. Hotel also appeared to entertain a lot of Japanese travelers as shops, restaurants and concierge were available in that language. Felt ok until I saw some of the other lavish hotels with their own large man made lagoon and beach front activities. But our room had huge floor to ceiling views of the beach-r Hilton, for example had a mall within their hotels. Not sure about price at other places though. Also ABC market is just around the corner as well as McDonalds, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster. i recommend going to Kobes Steakhouse-just few minutes more. And don't buy your souvenirs in the area. If you get the chance to drive, go to the Aloha Stadium on Wed and Saturday. You'll find the same items from $1-3. Wish I had known this first instead of blowing $300 first nigh.

We went for our anniversary, it was a great hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with an awesome view of the ocean! Great location, short walk to Ala Moana beach, restaurants and shopping. Close to downtown and Waikiki beach but not so close you could hear the busy nightlife. Quiet area. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would for sure stay there again! Hotel met our standards and then some!

Outstanding hotel - room was ready on time and check in was a snap. Room was especially clean, with a great view of Al Moana bay and the marina. We're adventurers, and the only meal we took in the hotel proper was morning coffee in the lobby every morning. Prince's shuttle service was especially handy. Special kudos to our favorite driver Butch. Another aspect of the hotel we hadn't thought about was its location. I liked being close too Waikiki without having to be in the middle of it. Ala Moana Shopping Mall largest I've seen; is a short walk away, and Ala Moana park was a much less crowded beach for swimming.
