  The aesthetics of the hotel were fine. However, the blow dryer in the room didn't work and when I went downstairs to use the computer to print off my boarding pass for my return flight home it was not working properly, either. The staff was great. The location was fine for our purposes. (If you like barbeque, I recommend Pinkies within walking distance of the hotel.) The hotel breakfast was generous - bed very comfortable, everything else was fine.

  Hotel was priced fairly for what it was. Very convenient to beach and highways. Hallways were quite dark and room was drab. Insignificant really since we spent little time there. Smoke odor was quite strong in the hallways and hotel needs some sprucing up, but the complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've had with good variety, although it was pretty much the same every day. Room was good sized. Everything appeared clean. In fact, bleach odor on sheets kept me awake a couple of nights it was so strong (not good). Community computer in lobby area was extremely slow, but I only used it to check flight info and briefly for other info. Could use upgrade. No one was overly friendly. Woman in breakfast room was pleasant. Because of convenience to beach and family we were visiting, we would probably stay there again.

  This hotel was great! good, safe location, free parking, free breakfast, nice rooms, nice staff. overall, it was a great choice for us. would definitely stay there again.

  The Holiday Inn Express, in Hermosa Beach, is very well managed, very clean and friendly. The beds are comfortable, the bath room is clean and the hotel is very well located, near the beaches, the city and the airport.
