We had requested a room with bunk beds through Travelocity Reservations but when we arrived it was 2 queens. It was late in the evening and it took about an hour to prepare a room with bunk beds. The room and bathroom were small but adequate. The clerk at the front desk was very helpful, I'd forgotten to print the voucher and it required logging into my travel online account. She took her time helping me retrieve the voucher to print the park hopper tickets. Access to Disneyland and California Adventure was so easy from this hotel, even though it's very pricey, if we can afford it we would do it again. We loved the small Arts and Crafts rocking chairs in the lobby's main hall that are situated in front of the TV, showing the old Disney Cartoons in color. This kept the kids occupied while we were changing rooms and printing vouchers.

My husband and I think it is well worth the price of the room to stay so close to the park. This is our third trip with kids and staying right there means you are not trying to get strollers, diaper bags and on your belongings on and off shuttles!!! So worth it to us. We stayed here with our 10 week old (not a planned trip), when she was 2 1/2 years and now with a 12 month old and 4 year old. I love being able to send what you buy back to the hotel and that the hold your belongings before and after their stated check in and check out times. Someone complained that they waited for their room that was not ready at noon- well it states that it won't be ready until 3pm! We also like to check out of our room and have the hotel hold our belongings while we eat breakfast and enjoy a few last rides! The food is good- not great- the pool is fun and we love staying so close! Friendly staff!!!

Very easy for everyone! Hotel is very nice and love that you don't have to walk 2 miles to get into disneyland. Nice price if you are an annual pass holder. Nice pool for the kids. Drinks are expensive though. Suggestion is to bring a cooler to the room with you drinks and snacks. convienant to walk to the room to get food and you to have that much needed cocktail. Will return as long as I have AP

What a mess. The Grand California did not have a room for five people as booked and confirmed for my family. One person literally slept on the floor one night. There wasn't even a roll away. The desk clerks were not helpful and acted like it was not a problems that they wanted to solve or could solve. They did come through with some free meals for us and other free stuff but only after we negotiated with them for hours at the desk and talked with over ten people.
