Nice and clean, little bit noisy
10/16/2009For the price is worthy, nice staff, great location, but you can hear almost everything around the room.

Was looking for a cheap good place to stay in the Anaheim area and found this place because of reviews and price. The hotel itself lived up to all the comments that previous customers have stated. There is a pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, business center, restaurant, and a bar area. The hotel grounds were clean and maintained very well. The interior design was very nice and up-to-date with some of the latest fashions. Continental breakfast was provided at a steep cost for what they had to offer. There was WIFI for all rooms. Just make sure you ask the front desk what the username and password is. They said the pool was heated but it not feel heated at all. The jacuzzi was really good and was a nice size that would probably fit 10 people in there comfortably. The room was simple and well designed. The bathroom (tub and toilet) was a little small but wasn't a problem. The beds were nice and comfy. There is no refrigerator in the room so we bought a lot of our meals outside. Overall, this would be a good hotel to stay at. It is on the opposite corner of the entrance to Disneyland which is good in terms of trying to get in and out of the area, but bad because it is about a 20 minute walk to the ticket booth.

We chose this hotel based on reviewer's comments while considering the price. We stayed here 7 days and were not disappointed. We upgraded to a suite which consists of 2 normal sized rooms. The extra room had a fold away sofa/bed, television, lots of open space, and a kitchen bar with a sink and refrigerator. The rooms were very clean and recently remodeled. The bathroom is very small by today's standards, yet was clean. We walked 10 minutes to a Disney parking lot tram some of the Disney parking is further than the hotel. The hotel is adjacent to a gas station with a Subway shop. The hotel is a 5 minute drive to a wide range of Anaheim restaurants. The hotel is not more than an hour drive to many popular cities in the LA region even in heavy traffic; Hollywood, Burbank, Pasedena, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, etc. The staff was helpful and kind. The outdoor pool was small, but not too bad when not overcrowded. Parking is free and abundent. Overall, we would stay here again based on expectations versus cost.

Hotel was decent/clean, free parking, no refrigerator/microwave (stayed at other Holiday Inn in Burbank which had appliances). There are no restaurants nearby, breakfast at hotel restaurant was $6.95/person. Can buy Disney tickets at hotel, but it is the same price at the Disney entrance so we bought ours at Disney. It is about 15min walk if you walk fast, if walking slow it takes about 25min from hotel to Disney. Coming back I realized could walk through Downtown Disney and Disney Hotels which was more interesting than walking on empty blvd. There is also shuttle from hotel, cost quoted was $4/person, I think it was for all day but not sure. We stayed till closing at Disney and missed the last shuttle back to hotel which was at 12:30am so caught taxi back to hotel. Taxi driver charged us $4/person x 3 people, he didn't use meter which we found strange.
