The hotel was fabulous except do not get a room on the front side of the hotel. I was awakened at 2am by the guy scraping the parking lot. I called to complain and he stopped but started up again at 6am!! Then the next morning it was 7am more reasonable but come on...2am? The massage was great! Christie is the best! The breakfast was too expensive. You only had the option of the cold or hot buffet. So we had to spend $30 to eat a bagel and fruit. Should have just eatten on the mountain. Otherwise, the videos' were free, they had a nice game room for kids. The hot tub was awesome and clean. Very nice place.!

This place is TOP NOTCH. I would never stay anyplace but here if you are planning to go to Beaver Creek. From the minute we got there we were treated like Rock Stars. Our room wasn't ready yet so they invited us to use the spa and we could leave our items in our vehicle afterwards and they would valet our car so we could ski, which we did. The guys at the ski shop in the hotel were FAB! They outfitted us in no time and we locked our stuff in a locker in the spa and we hopped on the shuttle and swooshed down the slopes until 4:00. We returned to the hotel via shuttle, our ski's were taken from us an locked up outside the hotel and we were offered hot chocolate. They brought our car to the garage so we could unload our items right to our room and the room was FANTASTIC, heated floors, complimentary wine, gorgeous view of the hot tubs and firepit blazing, comfy feather beds. We had happy hour in the Terrace restaurant and the bartender and servers were SO FRIENDLY. They shuttled us to a local spot for dinner and we fell so much in love with the place we stayed an EXTRA night. LOVED, LOVED this place. Had a tear in my eye when it was time to leave. We will be back next year FOR SURE and I CAN'T WAIT. I want to stay for a week next time. Stay here you will NOT be dissapointed.

Stayed December 10, 2008 for 6 days. What a great place. At arrival, valet to empty the car and park underground for free. Staff very friendly, not stuffy. Accomodating, just ask! Light bulb was out, maintainence came in 10 min. Floor numbering is confusing, but signs are very good to help. 2 bedroom condo was the best. Very updated, super clean and comfortable. Even the couch was great. Nice to have a full new modern kitchen, as restaurants in town can be pricey for families. In building restaurant was closed. Very quiet as we requested a top floor condo. Free shuttle everywhere day or night. Less than 5 min ride to ski. 5 min walk to ice rink and main village, but with ski gear and kids, the shuttle was great. One of the few with indoor pool, kids loved it. Also, in building ski shop, very friendly and helpful. Renee, the consierge, was the best for restaurant help. Can to wait to go back in Jan.

I would highly recommend The Charter at Beaver Creek to anyone wanting to have a great place to stay while in the Vail Valley. The staff was more then accomodating to all of my needs. The breakfast buffet was terrific. The room was very clean & the housekeeping staff kept everything well supplied. I felt very safe staying in this hotel. The underground parking garage was only available with your room key, as an added safety measure. You could walk to all that Beaver Creek has to offer. Excellent. I cannot find anything to complain about!!

We went for a long ski weekend. With only one exception, I would have to say that this hotel is absolutely wonderful. Not to mention the free bottle of complementary wine in your room...this is unheard of! The rooms are quaint and clean and the staff is among the friendliest that I have ever encountered. Along with the fact that the location is great, there are also shuttles that will take you to the lift within 5 mins and into Vail for a $5.00 charge. Another nice thing is that they give you free cookies and hot cocoa at the ski valet which is right next to where the shuttle drops you off.

The regular rooms are a tad on the small side but they have condos which are a lot roomier. But for the smaller rooms, they get it right. There are no over-sized armoirs or dressers to take up space. The dresser and TV are built into the wall so that all of the space is utilized. The TV is not very big but you shouldn't be there to watch TV anyway. You also get to nice fluffy robes as well.

The only downside would be the food. It's not that big of a deal since you are so close to the village. The main Italian restaurant has wonderful food and the atmosphere is beautiful. The breakfast restaurant is extremely pricy ($15 for hot buffet and $11 for cold buffet) for only OK food. No other breakfast options are offered. Everything is closed for lunch. We were a lilttle put off by this since there was no where to even get a cup of coffee but I wasn't that big of a deal.

We had an absolute wonderful time at the Charter and would highly recommend it.
