  Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Le Montrose. The only complaints I have are; #1, internet service in the room is not complimentary, and there is only one computer to use in thier business center, and that computer only had working internet half of the time. #2 the lighting in the room was inadequate. Even if you turned on every light in the room, it still seemed dark. The staff was excellent and helped us tremendously and were always very friendly, even though we weren't celebrities. And yes, there were a few big names staying there while we were.

  So, apparently I'm the only person in this revew that did not like the Montrose. I had a horrible expereince. First of all, the elevators were scary. There was no internet at all in my room, dried mucous on my pillow, candy, and welcoming papers - and my room had a terrible smell. I also had a stained towel. The staff did the best that they could, but it was not enough for what I was greeted with. Call me spoiled, but I expected better by the website. I didn't expect this place to look like a gutted apartment complex. The only thing I liked was the location - very close to the Sunset Strip.

  Out of the way, but central to everything. very warm and cozy atmosphere with a courteous staff eager to please. even the restaurant was good.

  We stayed at Le MOntrose for the 1st time . Great location yet tucked away on a back street away from the mania of LA. Very friendly staff, great rooms and overall an A+
