Was taking the Clipper so I wanted a hotel that was close. I picked the Edgewater. First off, online I was quoted $*, when I went there, first off, it is $* a night to park, no other parking unless you park at a parking garage down the street, I walked in, appeared to be nice, but was told that the room was going to be $* and if I wanted a water view, $*. After the shock of that and being late, I decided on the waterside based on other reviews about the train noise. Then as I was paying, that price given did not include hotel taxes and fees, so not it was over $*, for a single nights sleep. What a complete crime this is....... The room was OK, small TV, small room and my water view was actually looking at the dock next door. Had to take a taxi to find anything to eat. All in all, I rate the hotel as a 3, but due to the high cost, and no parking or close restaurants, I give it a 1, plus I will never stay there again. Save your money, there are other Hotels just a little further away and a short taxi ride to the Clipper.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel for a special anniversary trip. The staff were extremely helpful and the service was excellent. I had emailed customer service twice with questions before our stay and received quick and friendly responses that made me optimistic that things would go great. Our room was literally on the water--the hotel is built on a pier! The views were unbelievable all day and night with the harbor activity and night lights. The location is excellent as you can walk to most popular spots and there are free buses outside the hotel door to go all around the downtown area. We took a town car to and from the hotel and the service was great and reasonable price. This was our first time in Seattle and we will definitely go again and stay in this great hotel. The lobby is a lovely place to sit and relax. The fireplaces add special warmth. A perfect vacation spot!

Wonderful experience. Location perfect, especially if you are taking the ferry from Seattle. Rooms very well appointed, including an operating and functional fireplace. Ultra modern bathrooms. Magnificent view of the harbor from just about everywhere. Staff very welcoming and helpful. And don't miss out on the trendy and eclectic lounge and fabulous restaurant. Great, creative drinks and incredible food. Prices a bit high, so try to be there for happy hour when both drinks and some food choices substantially discounted. Also check for specials on their website. Michael from Lexington, KY

Room was not waterside but still a nice room. Very small, though, with no workspace or desk. Clean, great location and reasonable price/value for Seattle. Would stay again, though better for one person than two. Nice shower, comfortable bed. Beautiful lobby and views.

I have stayed at the Edgewater for business. This was reccomended by a friend so I thought I would give it a try. Every second were fantastic!! Love the room (super comfortable bed and pillows). My room was facing Puget Sound and it is totally worth! I slept with the garden door open. It basically felt like being in a resort yet in downtown Seattle.
