We got the room at a really good rate for New Orelans. It is in a really good location. Easy walk to Jackson Square, French Market and Canal. The hotel has a lovely lobby although they need to look into purchasing new sofas. The courtyard and pool are lovely. We sat out by the pool one night and it was great. The room had no window and it smelled like a mold farm. The smell was really bad. There were lovely terraces off the rooms filled with flowers and plants. I would stay again in a room with a window and no smell. They were also great places to sit and get some fresh air. They also had a pretty decent breakfast.

This is a lovely hotel in a very good location. It is within walking distance to most everything, yet is not in such a noisy, busy area which would not be relaxing. Staff were very pleasant, and helpful.

The employees at Bienville House were all very polite and helpful. After we had checked in and gone to our room, we discovered we were given one of the rooms that did not have windows. I had requested a room with windows when we made the reservation. The receptionist at the front desk said there was no record of my request for a room with a window, but there was another room available and we were moved. The room was beautiful. Very roomy. The only complaint I would have is that the air conditioning in our room was not very cold. However, there was a ceiling fan that helped with that. We would always ask the person at the front desk where we should eat. They were always very helpful and their recommendations were always excellent. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The location was great! We would definitely stay at this property again.
