Paid for a preferred (larger room)room with 2 queen beds. was informed by the hotel that suites were the only larger rooms with none available and the hotel does not have 2 queen beds in any room. The room was extremely small with 20 inches beteen beds, and 8 inches between bed and wall. The hotel is in a great location just off Bourbon St in a much quieter area. The restaurants and Carosel bar were very nice with quality meals and cocktails.

MY wiife and I took a long 5 day weeken in New Orleans. We stayed at the Monteleone. The hotel is in a great location within the French Quarter and very convenient, The rooms are clean, fresh and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I usually avoid hotel restaurants, favoring local establishments, but we ate once at the HUnt Room Grill and we were very please we did. The staff were very engaging and the food was excellent. I cannot speak too highly of this hotel and woudl recommend it to anyone that wants to have a wonderful time in New Orleans

We went to NOLA for my husband's birthday and booked at the Hotel Montleone. I've been going to the city for 20 years and had never stayed at this historic hotel. My parents actually went in the 1960's when they were first married and have raved about it ever since. It has a very old world, romantic feeling. The revolving Carousel Bar, and friendly bartender allow for a perfect end to the evening (or good start to the morning with a well-made, bloody mary). It's location is ideal for anyone wanting to walk to Bourbon Street, French Market, casino, shopping etc. The rooms are a bit small, but beautifully appointed.

I traveled with a friend, a mixed trip of business and pleasure. The hotel itself was lovely. The rooms were excellent, not exactly my taste but very well designed, super clean and really comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and the bathrooms were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and responsive. We got a good price from tarvel agency for these excellent accommodations in a good location. It's on Royal, a few blocks away from the noisiest part of the Quarter. One drawback was that the parking was * a day , so it increased the cost. But the valet service was fast and competent, even if they were busy at times. I would definitely recommend this hotel. They also have a rooftop pool and a new gym, the pool is great and although the gym is small , it is mostly aerobic machines, it's better than most I've seen in hotels.

My husband and I went with our children for a last minute weekend getaway. Hotel Monteleone was in the perfect location. We parked at the hotel and walked everywhere we wanted to go. The pool was great and so was the poolside bar. The only problem we had was getting in and out of the front entrance with a stroller. There are 6 stairs just inside the front entrance which would be difficult for a handicapped person. Otherwise, everything was great! The rooms aren't big but they are beautiful and have a great view!
