05/12/2009Rooms were ok, clean. the dual 2 chair recliner was broken in our room and not repaired or replaced and i advised then immediately. the rooms are only cleaned 1 ...
Rooms were ok, clean. the dual 2 chair recliner was broken in our room and not repaired or replaced and I advised then immediately. The rooms are only cleaned 1 time a week so if you run out of toilet paper or need towels you have to call for service. or go next door to walmart . coffee only service early morning. in lobby. Prom party was going on when we checked in but front office clerk quieted them down quickly. over all the room is nice and clean has a nice little kitchen tv we had 2 beds. nothing fancy, beds were actually confortable. as it is close to my families home we might stay again if needed.

Rooms were ok, clean. the dual 2 chair recliner was broken in our room and not repaired or replaced and I advised then immediately. The rooms are only cleaned 1 time a week so if you run out of toilet paper or need towels you have to call for service. or go next door to walmart . coffee only service early morning. in lobby. The good and the bad

Overall, I'd rate it okay but would not return because I wasn't comfortable in the room. If you get a good price, I wouldn't talk you out of staying there, but I wonder if you wouldn't be more comfortable elsewhere. I don't think there were guests on either side of my room so it was quiet in that respect. However, I still was not able to sleep the first night due to the refrigerator in the kitchenette. Someday I will learn to bring ear plugs. I knew my room wouldn't be cleaned during my stay because I read the card on my pillow when I arrived. But I prefer not to have housekeeping during a two-night stay. The card indicated that you could have housekeeping services upon request.
The good: Courteous staff who honored my request for different floor, high vacancy (so fewer residents), third floor reserved for smoking, all other is non-smoking, convenient location for High Point with many restaurants nearby, coffee in lobby each morning, hot water and good water pressure for shower, everything I used (eg: TV, shower) worked as expected, nice decor and room layout
The bad: linens were thin fabrics, scratchy and stiff; fridge in room kept me awake first night (turned it off for second night), can hear anyone walking around in room above, room and property were tidy (everything in it's place) but not clean (dirt, soot, stains, mold on shower curtain), no complimentary toiletries, no kleenex, smelling other resident's dinner since it is an extended stay hotel -
