I went with a friend and was very disappointed because the pics and info on travel online were misleading. We were booked to stay in the penthouse suite so the front desk clerk stated it wasn't clean yet & offered for me to look at the loft suite instead. The penthouse suite was still occupied by guests even though they sent us to view it. The elevator was out of order so we accepted the loft. Cute but everything is for sale. Travelocity confirms us getting a king size penthouse, robes, spa products, in room Cd's and complimentary buffet breakfast. We received a loft2nd floor w/ king bed, no spa products, cd's, robes $*, & penthouse bed is a small full size. The staff was rude and charged my card sercurity fees + total due without informing me. Wireless internet *****in the room so I had to go to the lobby to get a better connection. The room was clean and when we needed towels they were prompt. Be prepared to park 4 blocks away & spend $* daily for parking. No Valet, NO on site restaurants, small pool, and the bar was a joke! It's a bar without anything to serve or anyone to serve you. At check out the general manager didn't seem concerned with my complaints so he only refunded me 2 days of resort fees.Wow, $*! The ice machine is only on the 1st and 4th floor so if the elevator is out of order, you're going on a hike for ice. It looks good but the hassle isn't worth it. The location is great for the beach, other restaurants, shops. The balcony was the best part!

I was pretty excited when I 1st saw the pictures of the hotel and thought it was chic and amazing but when we got there...it looked totally different from the photos: The spa was still not ready..they had yellow tapes in the reception area..pretty messy..the b'fast room was pathetic..for the money we r paying..this hotel cud have done better with thier decor and serve a better b'fast. Dirty and messy. The pool was extremely small and dingy looking..like some cheap 1 star hotel. so much cud have been done with all that dead space. Forget about the bar area..Not worth lounging. As for the gym...omg..no ventilation or aircondition...we checked it out..it was a gym in a sauna!!!..So i stick to my outdoor jog in the morning. I'm not happy with their front desk service either. I did email them about my arrival and i was celebrating my b'day..but i got no respond from the concierge. They r more interested in making money out of you..Don't bother to get a massage ..ridiculously expensive. We left the hotel..only to find out from my credit card company that i was charged something from the mini bar than i never consume. My advice is to check the mini bar..and write down the details... I would not go back there again...

Due to a storm a week prior, we had to stay at a sister hotel, The Astor, for one night. We then were upgraded from a standard room to a king jacuzzi suite at the Clinton, it was really nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, and even came with fresh roses our last night. Downfalls: spa was being renovated, and the onsite restaurant was closed. Also, the gym equiptment was broken. Overall, great hotel, great location, wonderful experience.

This hotel has very thin walls and it's difficult to sleep when the people in the next room are playing the radio and talking throughout the night. Also, we didn't get maid service until we tracked someone down and asked for it. The front desk staff was unapologetic and not the friendliest. It's also not very clean... there were stains on the walls and headboard. And if you end up in a room on the back side of the hotel overlooking the alley, expect to be woken up at 6am by the trash trucks.
