Bad experience, find another hotel, the air conditioner was broken, no repairmen on site, no maid service unless you stay a week, more like a transient MOTEL. Trying to talk to the front desk female is like talking to a wild pig. I will tell all my friends to stay away from this dump. What you see is not what you get.

When I checked-in, I gave my name, etc. The guy asked what type of room I wanted and I stated the type which I'd requested when I made the reservation. So he asked if I wanted a room with 2 beds and I repeated that I wanted a room with the accommodations noted on my reservations, which was a double suite with 2 double beds. Needless to say, that's NOT what we received. The sheets on one of the beds was so shabby that we went to Wal-Mart and purchased a sheet set and used it during our stay. We took a photo of the sheet, to share, in case we had the opportunity to rate our stay there. Though convenient, we'll certainly not choose this hotel again.

Beware this is not for the weak in the stomach, cannot believe I paid money to stay here! First of all, this is a place where people LIVE, not vacation. So if you are on vacation, don't stay here. Upon entering the room, it reeked of pesticides. At least there were no bugs! The linoleum floors turned my socks and feet black and looked like they had never been mopped. Stuff splattered all over the walls in bathroom. No tissues in bathroom, only 1.5 rolls of TP. No hair dryer. TP holder was loose so TP kept falling off. Only one small bar of soap. Fridge did not work even when turned up all the way. Freezer managed to stay cool but did not freeze. Linens were stained. People running and yelling into the wee hours of Saturday night. Kitchenette sink ran slow. No maid service unless you ask for it, which I admit I did not do because if that was the best they could do in the first place I didn't feel there was much hope for improvement.

the saying "you get what you pay for" applies in this case, cheap hotell with alot of wear, room was run down and had the deadbolt on the door broken {look to be kicked in!!}, no security seen and alot of locals hanging around. do not stay here with your family!!

BAD TRIP TO GULFPORT
10/16/2008We arrived at the hotel at approx. 6:00 p.m.. there was a long line to check in. apparently, the hotel wasn't ready for the ""cruizin' the coast"" ...
WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL AT APPROX. 6:00 P.M.. THERE WAS A LONG LINE TO CHECK IN. APPARENTLY, THE HOTEL WASN'T READY FOR THE ""CRUIZIN' THE COAST"" TOURIST IMPACT. WE HAD TO WAIT UNTIL AROUND 7:00 OR SO FOR SOMEONE TO CLEAN THE ROOM THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO US (HANDICAPPED ROOM AT THAT!!!). OTHER THAN THE PROBLEM CHECKING IN AND FINDING A ROACH IN THE BATHROOM AND HAVING NO MAID SERVICE ON SATURDAY THE TRIP WAS OKAY.
