This was very disappointing. The room assigned was very dirty where black carpet was brown and the white walls were stained. They changed our room where it was a tiny step better however was facing the train station. We didn't get any sleep during our stay. The shower was complicating and unsatisfying. Wouldn't pay to stay again even if it was free. Definitely not a four star hotel.

Very modern design with B&B Italia furniture in a huge lobby. The rooftop restaurant/bar is also very modern, the pool is just outside with modern lounge chairs but worn out. Here?s the bad part: 1) The hotel is next to the train station, so even with the window closed you can still hear the trains coming and going, also the announcements on the P.A. system, which is very loud 2) The heat inside the hotel is very high, I would say about 27 C, in the corridor and in the room. Even after I turned off the heat completely it?s still hot so I had to open the window, which faces directly from the other rooms: you lose your privacy. The noise from the train station is even louder. But the room gets cooler after about 2 hours. We had to keep the window open all night so we could sleep. 3) Although the interior design concept is nice in its ultra modern way the construction is poor. Finishes are rough in many places. In the bath area(not a room) there are 3 faucets for the bathtub/shower. You have to figure out what they?re for. Supposing 1 turns the water on/off, 1 controls the hot/cold water, and 1 controls the distribution of water to either: tub filler, hand held shower or overhead shower. But they all got mixed up, e.g. the hot/cold faucet also turns the water off. The worse part is there is no hot water for the tub filler or hand-held shower. So if you want to take a bath you have to fill up the tub using the overhead, which splashes water either too cold or too hot all over your head and back while you?re controlling the faucets.

I'd not stay here again. The bed was comfortable, but the room was not--seating only on the bed, difficult lighting, leaky shower with broken door. Huge cold lobby with very inadequate seating where many people waited, while we stood or sat on suitcases for over an hour waiting for our long-reserved room. Cool, fairly unhelpful staff. Way too far to walk anywhere and an unappealing neighborhood. No place to eat but in the hotel. Food was OK, but very expensive with scanty service. A poor start to a long-awaited Italian vacation. We stayed only night...
