The hotel was just a lovely 10 min drive from downtown Saint Augustine and across the street from the outlets and just off of I95 so location was perfect. The pool was just right for a cool dip on a hot afternoon after trecking through old town Saint Augustine. the rooms themselves are old and had a musty smell requiring a request for air freshner. Unfortunatly this is the only request that was filled. Our shower had not been cleaned prior to our arrival with old towels still hanging in the shower and we requested these be removed while we were out and on our return several hours later we had to throw them out. Our lamp also had cob webs growing to the ceiling and we made several requests to the front desk to have these cleaned and always a friendly response and a smile but no action. On the bright side the breakfast was very hearty to send us on our way each day. For the price we paid I guess it was the best we could get.

We stayed here for our Honeymoon, I would Definitely NOT stay here again, We had a list of channels for the TV and we only had about 4 that actually came in at all. It was out of the way for almost everything. Definitely not 5 mins from the historic district. We had a non-smoking room because of nicotine allergies and the room HAD BEEN SMOKED IN. On a positve note most of the staff was friendly.

A dog had releived himself on the carpet and it was not picked up, the sheets were dirty, the room smelt moldy, I had a hard time breathing. when we went back demanding our money back and wanting to ckeck out we were refused. When we complained to the Ramada chain headquarters, they told us there was nothing they could do, everyone of their hotels is privately operated and they washed their hands of the problems...
