This is our second time staying at this resort. Our first experience was perfect with no glitches, our second had a couple of glitches. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Everyone was very friendly. Don't leave your air conditioner on with a window open or you'll end up with a lot of water on the floor. Huge bath towels. We had a harder time getting reservations for the restaurants our second time here, do right when you come in if you can (this is what we did the first time & we got all 4 when we wanted). The reservation area for this also has the theme night of the buffets to help make decisions of when you'd like to make these reservations. The buffets have a huge variety of foods that I think can cover all tastes. We traveled with 2 teens, a 1.5 year old, and 4 adults and we all found things to eat. Everyone enjoyed the main evening show that starts at 9:30 pm. Some were so so, but others were very good. The mosquitos were worse this time around (November visit). Our two glitches were getting our room keys to check into our rooms and finding one of the rooms already occupied - which they found another room right away, but it wasn't next to our travel companions, but it was close so it turned out ok. And the second was coming back from a shopping spree and both of our rooms having the keys no longer working. But overall we still enjoyed the resort - even staying by the fun pool was ok as we weren't in our rooms much and it put some fun in a day of just laying by the pool. There are lots other quiet pools if you want.

Great place for the price. It's like staying at XCaret park and a cab ride to Playa del Carman is only $*. The beach is man made inlet and not quite what I expected but still nice. Pools are gorgous. Activities were a little cheesy but fun. All meals were nicely presented. One caution: they have granite floors in the hallways and due to the open floor plan, get wet. These are very slick when they get wet. Several people had fallen during our stay.

We were looking for a relaxing vacation. The food and service were excellant. We did have an issue with restaurant reservations. We didn't get them for the restaurants we wanted and ended up just eating at the buffet every night.

This resort has everything any vactioning would hope for. Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent service, excellent food, excellent entertainment, and excellent price. The only draw back is that the beech is kind of small and is articiial. I still higly recommand this resort. I will definately go back to stay there next year.
