Pros: Great location, right near the Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma ;the stop for many shuttle buses to the airport and cruises;. Cons: I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions during my Euro-adventure so I think my assessment of the service is pretty accurate. 1. NO HOT WATER. I didn't get hot water when I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of my trip. However, because I believed it to be a fluke, I didn't mention the fact to management. When I stayed at this hotel again at the end of my trip, there was no hot water again! When I complained to management this time around, the manager said that the technician was working on it. When we checked the water again after 30 minutes after breakfast - the manager told us to check after 15 minutes there was still no hot water. I had to leave the hotel without taking a shower because I had to make a morning flight. Totally unacceptable. 2. NO HEATING IN ROOM/ NO FUNCTIONAL THERMOSTATS IN ROOM. The thermostats in the room do not work and management did not turn on the heating system at night during my 2nd stay at this hotel. I nearly froze during the night. Rather than immediately apologizing the next morning, management turned the tables on us, asked us why we didn't ask for blankets when we were cold in the middle of the night and suggested that we turned on the AC in the room... of course, none of the thermostats worked in the rooms.
