I recently stayed there and had a great time. The hotel lobby has a Living Room with complimentary wine hour from 5pm to 6pm. They are really pet friendly and we saw several dogs there. The bedroom was spacious which we did not expect for a downtown hotel and the decor was really chic. Check out the jacuzzi tubs!!!! There is a pool side bar / lounge that has the most amazing views. The weekend we were there they actually had a wedding up there. The restaurant is far from the typical hotel restaurant. Delicious food and really friendly staff. We were really happy with the overall stay and can't wait to go back.

I'll lead with the good. The coffee was excellent. The hotel is decorated very stylishly. The pool area is nice and the staff was professional and tried to make up for the number of mistakes. The music does play until 1 am, but I found our windows to mute out 90% of it. Our trip there just seemed to be a series of one bad thing after another. They didn't have our room for us when we arrived at 8:00 pm. The room they found for us (family of 4) was a single King, which we had an hour after checking in. The next night, we had two beds in a smoking room, and we are SO not smokers. The next night we had a good room for the last two nights. Having to move our stuff three times and not having a room after 8 hours on the road was irritating, to say the least. The only good thing is that two nights of the $35 valet fee were comped (which took talking to a manager) and the front desk staff comped the entire wet bar after making us move the third time. On our first night, we found out the pool closes at 9 pm for kids and turns into a Vegas-style bar. Thankfully the bouncer let us in as we had left to get supper after our room snafu and he let us eat as there were no tables downstairs for this in the lobby. There were a lot of inebriated hipsters running around, the in-hotel restaurants were way too expensive for a family and the best thing to come out of our trip there is the laughter from recounting how difficult our stay there was.

This hotel seems to attract couples in their 20s and 30s. It is a beautiful hotel and the location is great, near the baseball stadium and a few blocks from the Horton Shopping plaza. I had my 2 teenage children with me and they did not feel comfortable at the pool . There is a large bar at the pool and most of the couples sit around the pool drinking. Some evenings we wanted to swim when we got back to the hotel, but you have to be over 21 to use the pool after 9 PM. At 9 PM the loud music starts and the bar and pool area are packed. No matter where your room is located, you hear the noise until 1 AM. We ate breakfast in their restaurant the first morning. Food was good, but service was terribly slow, even though the restuarant was nearly empty. n The lobby is pretty and comfortable. We would not stay there again.

The pool is not much larger than a backyard play pool and just jammed with 20-30 year old rich kids. There are very few chairs and the ppol area is an ightclub for the public in the evening. This place is probably excellent if you are 20ish and want an upscale($18 for chips and dip) stay. It does have its good qualities, but we will not stay here again. We wanted some quality pool time and that was not doa able here...not to mention, inside the pool was a disgusting black oil ring above the water line...ick.
this is anice place, but it is slanted towards a young, hip crowd....
hey, I forgot to mention that they do not leave towels on check out day. Want to shower before leaving? forget it.
