  When I made our last minute reservations for the 4th of July weekend this was one of the only hotels that was somewhat reasonably priced (compared to everything else) and had vacancies. When we checked in we were informed that it hadn't even been open for a week, it was a brand new hotel. Very charming, very comfy rooms, nice staff. Only thing I would say is that the room got a bit stuffy during the night and there is no air conditioning or fans in the rooms. It is only a block away from the train station and free trolley to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Warf, which was very convenient!
