  Two friends and I went to Tampa for a spur of the moment overnight visit to YBor. This hotel's location is great right on 7th Avenue which puts it in easy walking distance of all of YBor. The room was very comfortable if a bit crowded with the two beds. The staff was friendly, courteous and willing to put in that extra effort that makes a stay really pleasant. I wasn't impressed with the complimentary breakfast bar, but everything else more than made up for that. I found that I got good value for my money.

  This hotel is in a good location -- a short and easy walk to Ybor City. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The free breakfast was a plus. Was a bit surprised at the $7 daily parking fee even for guests. The room was good-sized, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the in room refrigerator and microwave. I was disappointed they, like many hotels, have decreased the amount of complimentary soap, shampoo, etc. they offer. My only true compliant, however, it is that the walls were not insulated very well and as a result, the room was somewhat noisy. Conversation and TV were pretty noticable from the next room as was noise from the hall.

  We stayed 2 nights in the Hampton Inn prior to embarking on a Carnival Cruise of the Western Caribbean. The Inn is located on the edge of a quaint Old Town setting in Ybor City (pronounced Ebor) and close to the docking pier for Carnival Cruise Ships. There was free shuttle service to the pier. Many good restaurants in the area as well as an exceptional aquarium, and the Channel Side Tourist area. The beds in the Inn are excellent, and the free buffet breakfast quite adequate. All in all an enjoyable stay.

  This hotel had excellent service, including taking you to and from cruise ships. this was a very clean place and the free breakfast bar was pretty good.

  We stayed 1 night before our cruise. Werent too sure about the area in general, but we ventured out at night, and found people to be very friendly, just stay on the beaten path.(It was dark w/construction going on when we went). The bed was amazing!!! If ever in the area again, I would stay at this hotel.
