I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites The purpose of my visit was to see my father who lay dying in the hospital. My partner and I left the room at approximately 10:15 on Saturday Morning and retuned from a very long and stressful day after 9pm that night. Imagine our distress when we walked into the room to find the beds un made, the floor not vacuumed, no clean towels, and coffee stains from the coffee we poured out dried in the sink. I have a feeling the room was checked and then ignored because the b Do Not Disturbb sign we had hung on the interior door so that the staff would know the room was ready for service was lying on the floor by the bathroom. This was inexcusable oversight was compounded when we requested service from the front desk and 15 minutes later man appeared with a pile of sheets and towels and instructed us to make our own bed . To make matters worse he did not want to remove the trash I had bagged up or the dirty wet towels I had gathered. My advice is do not stay here.

After a long 10 hour drive up to NH, this hotel was perfect for our needs. I was surprised at how comfortable the room was - high quality and updated furnishings. Loved the bathroom. One thing they forgot to mention on the website is that there are irons an ironing boards in each room. I brought my own !! Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms was nice, very large, kitchen needed silverware there was only one fork. Bathroom was nice well stocked. My only problem was waking up at 2:00am, with bug bites on my right hip. I spent the rest of the night on the couch and in the am when I went to the front desk I was first told that the screen must have been off the window and a bug got in, then later I was told that the bug I showed the front desk that I got off the box spring must have come with me from the outside. Since I was in a car all day I don't think that was llikely.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms and service. We usually stay at pricier hotels, but made a last minute decision to stay here for the night. The room was very clean, had very comfortable beds, and a mini-refrigerator and microwave. A continental breakfast was also provided the next morning. We enjoyed the stay and would stay again anytime.
