08/17/2008My stay was excellent. the parking is limited. it woulod be difficult for someone who is not able to climb stairs which is necessary ifyou parked in the parking structure.

The staff was friendly. The beds were terrific and the room was cozy but clean and modern. There was wireless internet in the rooms but only one computer (free) downstairs if you didn't bring your own. Although it is next to the Birmingham University Hospital, the room was very quiet. There's a nice deli right next door that stays open until 11 p.m. for late arrivals.

12/25/2006Close to the 5 points south and lakeview bar districts. it is a great place to stay if you are visiting uab.
