The hotel is very nicely appointed and is convenient to the gulf. I chose this one instead of the Holiday Inn across the street because there were four people in my party and I wanted at least three separate beds, at least one Q or K, and Holiday Inn didn't have anything like that available. The room was beautiful with 2 queens and a sofa bed. The queens were very comfortable but the sofa bed was hideous. It was uncomfortable and stained and was without sheets. We sent down for some but when one of the teen boys who is 6' 1" laid down, his feed hung over almost a foot! The sofa bed was uncomfortable, thin and unusable, so DO NOT count on sleeping on this! There was a tiny spider and a tiny bug in the tub, which I washed away. Otherwise, everything was very clean and in good order. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I like that they have a hot breakfast. All in all,the rooms at this hotel are nicer than Holiday Inn's. I've stayed at HI many times and the pools are nicer, there is an outdoor bar in the summer, an indoor bar and full service restaurant, and it is directly on the beach, but it shows its age. Also, there is no free breakfast at HI.

Great Location, can walk across street to get to Beach. Hotel was surprisingly updated, clean and very friendly desk staff. Room was updated, incredibly fluffy bed a little too fluffy. Definitely can only fit 4 in a room! No real complaints. Breakfast was good!

My family enjoyed staying at this hotel. The beach area isnt exactly across the street, but its a very short walk. The beach was clean and family friendly. The rooms were a bit smaller than most Choice Hotels other sights but it was still functional. Good breakfast with bacon, omlettes, and waffles as well as the other normal hotel breakfast items. Nice pool, safe parking, friendly staff, good internet connection. Refridg and microwave in the room too. There is not a restaruant or fast food place close by. You might need to drive back about 4 to 5 miles to find the nearest chain fast food (Sonic) and a bit more for the chain restaruants, if your into the chain establishments.

Room was nice, especially for the money. The bed was a little soft but I didn't mind too much. My only complaint is that the floors/ceilings must be thin; about 3:30 in the morning, I awoke to hearing my upstairs neighbors walking around.

Location was great. Quiet area with only a walk across the road to the nearest beach. Usually a suite is more than a room with a half wall divider. If I had known exaxcty how small the suite was I would have upgraded to something larger. Diffently think about that if travelling with 2 kids. There is not enough rom for them to spread out. Four people are a tight fit!
