The breakfast is great, even though the english muffins are frozen, they thaw nicely in the toaster, love the waffles. The hotel is currently undergoing rennovation with new carpet and they are installing flast screens in the room. Our room had new carpet, but did not have a flast screen TV yet. They talked about updating the hotel, but they still had a popcorn ceiling, appartenly to cheap to have it removed and the paint was quite boring. Since this hotel is near the airport, you can hear noise from the airport while outside in the pool with jets flying overhead, but we did not notice it while in the room. The only complaint I had is they have a mini fridge, but they didn't have a micorwave, a microwave would have been nice. Overall good hotel, the price was great, and I would definatley stay here again.

The good thing about this hotel was the room was very clean with good beds, new towels and sheets. The bad is that it is nothing more than a nice Motel 6. The worst was the breakfast; frozen solid english muffins. A waffle maker that didn't make any waffles and juice that was so watered down it was not drinkable. We ended up walking over to the BK in the same parking lot. We paid $$ for a place to sleep. If you are going to be hanging around the hotel I would stay some where else but if your going to just sleep it's a good deal. Oh ya only has basic cable.

The hotel it self is typical building, but service is horrendous. At the breakfast (included) two out of three kitchen appliances were consistently out of order. One day you can have coffee, but no juice or waffle, next day waffle but no juice or coffee. Talking to management totally useless. I checked for 3 days and daytime manager decided to check me out and all my stuff: close toiletries were taken away and hidden somewhere so hotel manager could not find it for 6 hours. I lost valuable time and missed my evening meeting. Trying to talk to the management and got nothing, not even apology. Hotel also was doing renovations and painters were making noise and left painted surfaces with no marks. It was very unususal for me, since I travel all over the world, and never had such an experience. This is unacceptable, especially for ""hot bed"" of technology. Stay away from this one. It may teach them a lesson.

I stayed at La Quinta Inn for 11 days on business last week. Not much to look at outside and there's nothing much within walking distance except Burger King, but the room was very nice, clean, a decent size, and recently remodeled--for under * a night, a great value. The staff was pleasant and mostly helpful, although I waited too long for the shuttle at the airport on arrival, and when I called them back to find out what was taking so long the person who answered claimed no one had been sent out to pick me up because no calls had come in for the shuttle--even though I had called 15 minutes before. (I gave up and took a cab.) A few suggestions if you happen to be a single woman traveling alone, as I was. (I never felt unsafe there, but you can't be too cautious.) Ask for a room in the main buliding (and on the ground floor if your suitcase is heavy--there's no elevator.) Don't count on using the fitness room--it's as far as possible from the lobby, in a separate building at the far end of the parking lot, near the Burger King, and personally I didn't feel comfortable there. Same goes for the washer/dryer--the dryer was broken anyway. The breakfasts consist of d-i-y waffles, 2 kinds of cereal, bagels, english muffins, toast, or instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, juices. There's a microwave & toaster in the breakfast room that you can use at any time of day or night & rooms have small refrigerators & coffeemakers (1 cup at at time.) All in all a good deal but perhaps not quite as nice as the website makes it sound...then again, you DO get what you pay for most of the time.
