If anyone is looking for an affordable "home away from home" on edge of the Riverwalk, the Grand Hyatt is definately a hidden jewel. The hotel is located in heart of San Antonio's Riverwalk, but hidden just enough to get the relaxation one needs. Topping our list of consideration is the professional team of employees - from front desk right down to the cleaning crew - polished; we were very impressed with this hotel and strongly recommended to anyone visiting the area. Why spend the big bucks when you can get the same bang for much less? September 5, 2009 - Rm 1155.

Check in and check out went very quickly. The staff we encountered were all very pleasant and helpful. We had a wonderful view of the city. The hotel was two blocks from the mall and 3-4 from the Alamo. Very convenient to the River Walk and church as well. Surprisingly there was very little freeway noise even being that close. We had an extra special surprise when we arrived, as the hotel is the home base for the Dallas Cowboys training camp. Overall a very good experience.

This hotel is very nice. It does uphold the Hyatt name. Rooms were nice and clean. Pool was great even with children ranging from 17 to 5. The excercise room is huge. To say whether we will stay there again will be depending on the price. We had a excellent deal on two rooms. It is located on the RiverWalk but not in the mainstream but very close. The parking is better across the street in a parking garage for $8.00 not their parking. We did not eat at this hotel so as far as the in hotel restaurants i'm unable to respond.

Hotel was over priced. For the amount of money the hotel charged more things should have been included. For example, the hotel has Wifi, but be prepared to be charged at least $10 to use it. To park at the hotel, $23. I purchased the King room, nothing special about the room, would not recommend the upgrade. The hotel location was right on the river walk which was nice.

The hotel is very lovely, beautiful chandeliers and excellent , friendly service. Valet parking was the best we have experienced. Our room, 2125, was over looking the Space Needle. Our only complaint was that there was a noise in the air conditioning. We called at 1:00 PM. The noise stopped for three hours we know of for sure. Then at 7:30 AM we know it started again. When my husband asked at the desk if they had trouble with the noise before; he was told they had. We checked in around 11:00 AM; so I was disappointed that we were put in that room when they knew the noise was there and it was early in they day. They did comp our valet parking.
