My husband & I stumbled upon the Gasthaus Eichler while researching wedding venues. We were married in Winter Park on 8/22/04 at Snow Mountain Ranch & stayed at the Gasthaus post wedding. We had our wedding dinner in the restaurant which was fabulous authentic German fare. The owner & chef, Rene Weder custom made our wedding cake. He & his wife made us feel so incredibly welcome, we decided that we'd revisit the Gasthaus for each major anniversary. We had the pleasure of returning on our 1st anniversary, and just spent our 5th anniversary this past weekend. still remembered us from previous stays. The cuisine was just as fabulous as we'd remembered. I highly recommend the viener schnitzel when you stay! We also received complementary bottles of champagne for our anniversary. If you are looking for a place that offers friendly hospitality & quality rooms, then this is the place. We have thoroughly enjoyed each stay, & appreciated the use of the outdoor hot tub after a long day's hike. we go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of! We will certainly look forward to staying again on our 10th anniversary.

We took a family trip to Winter Park on March '09 and were totally pleased with the Gasthaus Eichler convenience, accomodations, food and personalized attention from its owners . We are looking forward to many more years of visiting them on our yearly spring-break trip to Colorado!

My now fiance and I stayed here in March 2009 for a week and had a fabulous time! The location was perfect-5 minutes from the free buses, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also both restaurants within the hotel were amazing. This was our first time to try Fondue and I am hooked! The rooms are very cozy and make you feel at home. We wanted a more intimate vacation without all the hustle and bustle of the resort atmosphere and we found it. The hot tub by the stream was perfect after the long days of skiing, snowmobiling, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and tubing down the hill in the next town over. We made it a point to sit in the hot tub every night to wind down and it was great. The staff were friendly and were very helpful on finding things to do in Winterpark. The discount at the adjacent ski store was also a nice perk. I would definitely recommend the Gasthaus for a romantic getaway or a relaxing weekend and plan on returning as my fiance proposed while we were hiking in the Rocky Mountains!

I`m on a little trip through Colorado with 3 friends and our last stop was Winter Park. We stayed here at the Gasthaus Eichler abd i really recommend this nice little Hotel to everyone! The Food was great, specialy their European Breakfast. the rest of the Team was friendly and helpfull. We even got a discount at the ski shop next door, so we could enjoy the slopes right away. After the 2nd Day we used the Hot Tub in the back right next to a creek which was enough relaxing for me, but got also a massage at Tranquity massage studio. We wen`out and really liked the fact, that we could walk to every bar in town. By the way, the Winter Park pub is definitely my favorit. So, overall, we had a great time in Winter Park at the Gasthaus Eichler and i hope we have the Chance to come back some day...

The Gasthaus is family-owned and the proprietors, X and his wife, X, are extremely friendly and accommodating. From the moment we checked in we felt welcome, and the meals were exceptional. We had a small problem with the heating unit in our room, and were immediately given another room. The outdoor jacuzzi next to the creek was great as well. We will definitely visit again! Thanks Gasthaus!
