I read the reviews on this hotel and was looking for an inexpensive but good hotel. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, had a great patio view of the ocean and was a nice size. The WiFi was excellent, we were in room 610 and I got full bars on my connections. The pool area was a nice size and clean. The bed was comfy and I had no issues sleeping. Plenty of pillows and towels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. FYI, for good Italian food, stop over at Louise's right across the street. The next time we go to Daytona for a shuttle launch or anything else, we will definitely stay here. The last day we were there, they were in the process of installing new carpeting on the bottom floor.

I usually do not stay at a hotel in a typical touristy locale as I go on mini vacations just to get away from all the trappings, but I have to say that I was really pleased with the hotel. It was clean, on the beach and the staff were all friendly. Having access to the computer was a plus. The hotel was a distance from the noisy places in Daytona, but close enough to restaurants, etc. I will stay again.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. This is an older hotel, but it has been kept up nicely and updated regularly. Perfect ocean front rooms with balconies, direct beach access from the pool area. Staff was friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to help us. This is a great hotel for families who want a relaxing vacation on the ocean. It is near lots of restaraunts, and near lots of things to do, for both children and adults.

My family of 4 stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on our way up the coast from the Keys. For the price, it was definately a great place to lay your head. Great view of the ocean, nice sized area to lay out, and you can walk right onto the beach. We really enjoyed ourselves, and with the few hundred we saved on the hotel, we were able to splurge a bit more in the shops on the boardwalk. It was a bit of a drive from the boardwalk and most attractions, but for the price and size, I didn't mind a bit. Staff was very familiar with the area, and had great suggestions for dinner. Parking garage was a great bonus as well.
