  We loved the location. There was a tube stop on the corner and many places (especially theatres) nearby. But it was too hot to sleep. They've gone to the beds without a top sheet; just a comforter. And the air conditioning system was unable to cool the room adequately. One of our rooms had a functioning window; so that room was tolerable at night. In the other room, the window was sealed, and it was hard to sleep. I requested suggestions from the concierge before our arrival (by e-mail) and received helpful information and reservations. But while we were there we were told by the concierge that he was busy, and probably wouldn't have time. There was always a line at his desk. There was a very restful bar where we could go at the end of the day and have a glass of wine and plot out our next day.

  The service, staff and room accomodation were all excellent. The room had the euro shower with 5 shower heads and the bed was very comforatble. I had to search for the hair dryer which was attached to an inside drawer in the desk and this was a bit inconvenient. Beng an American, I was taken aback by some of the prices in the bar and lounge, but the dollar is weak so its probably not that unreasonable compared to some top of the line American hotels.
