excellent location, walking distance to everything, circular quay,darling harbour, shopping center, easy acces to bus,ferry and train station, friendly staff, check in was a breeze. only complaint we had was, it took them a long time to fix our toilet, otherwise, our overall hotel experience met our standards. will definitely stay at this hotel.

I stayed at this Intercontinental the weekend of Feb 21st this year. What a great hotel and right in the heart of everything. It's just a block up the hill from Circular Quay and walking distance to everything from the Opera House, Harbor Bridge, bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is very clean, staff were excellent & very helpful. We arrived before check-in time and they gladly held our luggage in a locked room and told us when a room was available they would bring our bags right up to the room for us. Concierge was also extremely helpful when looking for restaurant recomendations as well as help with accessing the onsite business center. The doormen were very pleasant and helpful with cab service and honest info on cab prices to the casino and airport. Around $30 in a cab and 15-20 min ride to the airport with no traffic. I have to say the view was why I booked this hotel for the Harbor Bridge view. We had the bridge view room and it was just amazing. The higher the floor you are located the better as there's another bldg in front so you have an angled view if you're lower. The beds are extremely comfortable and I've never slept so well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there on my next trip over. The only thing I didn't care for & is minor was the inflated wireless internet price at around $20-$25 for 24 hrs.

I would highly recommend staying in the Intercontinental Sydney hotel. The location is perefect. It is in walking distance of the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Opera House, the Rocks and Circular Quay. The staff at the hotel was so helpful and so friendly. We have no complaints!
