The check in process was fast and friendly, but that's where it ended. To start off, there was one of those hidden fees; $* per day. After the 5 minute walk to our room in another building, we arrived at our room. It is very unpleasant having to walk through the gauntlet of smokers at the entrance of the hotel every time we entered or exited. We had requested a non-smoking room and although it was probably now a non-smoking room as it didn't stink, it clearly was at one time. There were cigarette burns on numerous horizontal surfaces throughout the room and the bathroom ceiling still had the classic brown nicotine water drips on it. Speaking of the bathroom, the sink had a VERY SLOW drain and the exhaust fan was broken. As for the rest of the room, the A/C never really got the room cool and ran all night. I think that we could feel every spring in the mattress. It needed to be replaced years ago. The message light on the phone was blinking the entire time we were there, but there was no message on the phone. It's my fault for assuming and not checking, but the room didn't even have a coffee maker. There is no microwave, but there is a small refrigerator, which didn't feel very cold and had a broken temperature control knob. We did walk over to the West Side Deli in the casino for some dinner. The french dip sandwiches were quite tasty and reasonably priced. Don't get thirsty and purchase any water there. It's almost $* per gallon ($* for a 12 oz. bottle)!

The rooms remodeled in 2008 are decent. The only trashcan was in the bathroom, which was odd. They do not wash the windows in the tower rooms, so it is very hard to see out with the dirt that cakes the window exterior. The Adventuredome is off the hook fun! However, the employees working there clearly are bored to tears and have the emotions of a corpse. The security guards do a good job and are well armed. The parking is fairly decent and the employees are nice. DO NOT eat at the McDonalds there unless you have some Pepto Bismo and a roll of charmin on standby! A decent place to stay though.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. Before making the reservation I saw low ratings from many people who complained about "far from strip that made their legs hurt walking for long distance", 'full of kids running around", "noisy plumbing work" etc. Well all those are correct. But if you want nice hotel you have to pay for that. Please, do not pay low $ and expect 5 star hotel experience. I am satisfied with what I got for what I paid for. (Any ways, I do not care for good hotel experience just for sleeping and taking rest as I was out for most of the time while I was at Las Vegas)

Circus Circus was the cheapest option for me (on the strip). The room was decent, but not great. The matress was not very comfortable. Something they don't tell you (until you check in) is that there is a mandatory $*/day charge for local telephone service. You have to pay for the priveledge of having a phone in your room, whether you use it or not. So whatever rate you get, just know that it will actually cost you $*/day more.

The hotel was just fine for the price. Having stayed here before, it was a known quantity. However, I was disappointed in having to pay for interntet access: * dollars a day for guests, and * for convention center users. They had convenient, but slow public terminals available for $* per minute. Don't know about the rest of Vegas, but in many of my other travels, internet access was included in the room cost, assuming I brought my own device. The Steak House was over rated. A nice piece of meat, but no flavor, and over priced.
