Our trip was unbelievable. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The views will take your breath away. If you don't rent a car be sure to bring lots of money because food and drinks are very expensive!!!!!!!! Great tasting but really high. The rooms are nice and the beds were comfortable. We loved it sooo much we are planning another trip for the Spring.

Very nice resort, beautiful and well taken care of. Staff was extremely friendly. Food was delicious but somewhat expensive. Room service was prompt and friendly. Only drawback was the workout facilities, the room has great equipment but is very small and too hot to get a good workout. Became very crowded with guests waiting to use treadmills.

Excellent location and comfortable stay near the beach. Very friendly staff who happily accommodated our room change twice. Booking the tours through their Tour agent was piece of cake, although their rates are slightly higher than if you directly book these. Try to have your lunch and dinner outside the hotel for authentic Puerto Rican food. Definitely, visit restaurant La Parilla on Rt 3 - awesome; ask for seating in the back. Hotel staff can provide you directions to this place. Resort has many activities available; did not get enough time to use all. I'll anytime recommend this resort.

The property was very nice. Right on the beach. The only problem is that the beach closed a 5pm because of turtles. The food was expensive and not good at all. Also, everywhere we went, someone was bugging us about going to a timeshare presentation. Even while getting towels at the pool!!!! Annoying! The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very pleasant and accomodating.

This was my second stay at the Rio Mar Wyndham Hotel and this is a great hotel. The service is outstanding, everyone is very friendly, and if you love the beach this is the place for you. Unlike so many other resorts on PR this hotel has a fantastic beach front that goes for miles. They have 2 pools separating the kids from the adults and their location makes them incredibly accessible to the rainforest, local food, and San Juan (via rental car). We ate off site because the downside to any resort is cost of food and drink but with a rental car you can find great local food minutes away. The rooms were very clean and well maintained although we did have a bit of a problem with our water pressure from time to time. Everyone at the hotel is very accomodating. I would stay here again.
