Not all that great... but great location!
11/30/2009Sure the lobby is beautiful but the rooms are average, nothing special. i would not pay full price for this hotel... cons: no vent or towel racks in bathroom. mold ...
Sure the lobby is beautiful but the rooms are average, nothing special. I would not pay full price for this hotel... CONS: No VENT or towel racks in bathroom. MOLD on ceiling because bathroom has no vent and moisture builds up quickly, even from a warm shower. Towels are stacked on a low shelf only, no racks or hooks. Sink level very high. I am 6' tall and I could barely get my mouth close to faucet to rinse out. Dumb design... You can hear people in the hall easily so get a far away room from the elevator. The Breakfast Buffet was a joke. It was barely worth the FREE we got with the room package. Expensive parking at $30 day. PROS: The Comfort Select mattress was comfy but the KING is really just two TWINS connected so don't plan on any middle of the bed adventures as there is a hump there. Nice TV and FREE Internet. Prime Rib restaurant was AMAZING food wise... but expensive. The MAJOR bummer we had, which isn't Radisson's fault, is that at 2:30am in the morning someone pulled the FIRE ALARM and we had to evacuate the hotel from oor 10th floor room. It was a nightmare getting back up after the hotel was cleared safe. It scared my 6 year old daughter and made us nervous since we THOUGHT it was a false alarm (lots of college kids in hotel at the time) but it could have been real. Scary thought... All in all, not worth the full price money. Next time I may try the Sofitel as it looked nicer.

Great locatoin, not many activities in hotel, air unit broken

Our room was gorgeous, a corner room overlooking the city. There was only 1 restaurant/lounge and they shared a space. The staff was great but there were no activities. Not much for fitness, no pool or spa. Our Air Conditioner had to be replaced after 24 hours of a warm room. The gentleman actually came into our room and spent some time removing the old unit and putting in another. It was his second visit to check the air. The food was good and the location, close to Rittenhouse Square was lovely.

We couldn't be happier with the Radisson Warwick. We had made previous arrangements to stay at the Center City Embassy Suites (bad idea). When they wouldn't allow us to have more than 5 people in our room (to change to go out for a bachelorette party) and suggested that the bride and her mom and aunts and bridesmaids hang out in the lobby that was under construction, the Radisson was ready and willing to accomodate us. Service was impeccable, all the staff and even the guests were friendly and made sure we had everything and more we could have wanted. The room was roomy and very trendy. I will go out of my way to stay there again! Thank you for saving our bride's night!
