We had a great visit to Lido Beach and loved this hotel! We originally checked in to another hotel and realized we did not want to stay. We walked down the beach and saw this hotel and were not disappointed! Staff was so accommodating, rooms were large and clean, pool was very warm, did not notice anything negative. Have an adult only pool (did not use) but other pool was great. Location was amazing. Shuttle at your beck and call!!

Nice Hotel with a beautiful view. Lido is as clean as a la Quinta but has the ammenies of a Super 8. Charges for morning coffee, Pool Towels must be changed at the front desk, while quests are checking in. Pool was cold (would not turn on heat), and had sunscreen scum floating in it. Hot tubs dirty, pool clocks do not work and paint chips falling from older side of hotel. a Large hole was in the canvas roof of the outside bar. Maintenance has gone down hill.. The rooms were nice but the re-upholstery room chairs and couch were not very comfortable. The TV Scheduling was terrible, some channels came in others once in a while. The wi-fy was spotty. At $* per night I expected a little better. Staff very friendly and professional.

Upon checking in to our room, the toilet overflowed at 1st flush. The curtains were absolutley filthy, and the kids pool was closed for maintenance ( open the next morning). The toilet was fixed promptly, but the hotel management didn't seem to care. I expect some acknowledgement from a "Resort" for this sort of inconveinence. 2 days later, not 1 but 2 maids in the same afternoon, walked into our room. I was undressed, getting ready for the pool, the maid knocked on the dor & then burst into the room- no wait time for my reply. I was not happy & finally took all my issue to the front desk to have them addressed & request an upgraded room to beachfront. I was received very professionally & given the asst managers card for any further issues. The next day when housekeeping cleaned our upgraded room they ran the dishwasher, but didn't close the door properly- they flooded the floor. Once open the kids pool could have used a good cleaning, the tiles were all crudy around some of the ledges. At check out, when reviewing my bill they tried to charge us for cabana rentals on the beach that we never ordered. All said and done, our room upgrade was comped after some complaining of my very valid issues. The upgraded rooms were what I had expected in the 1st place, but all the other issues will mark this hotel as a "no return" for us.

Just recently stayed at the Lido Beach Resort and found everythng wonderful. great location, on the beach with free beach chairs, just minutes to St Armands circle, and very clean too! Our room had our own kitchette which was ideal. Would stay again and recommend it to everyone!!

The room was great and house cleaning was as expected. We stayed in the older of the two buildings. The elevator was not air-conditioned and it looks were not well maintained. The rooms air-conditioner labored to keep up with the heat. The view was excellent and the beach was wonderful. The service was good. We did have trouble with directions. It appears that you never got a complete answer to any question. An example: How do you get there? Answer: By taxi or drive. That did not answer the queston. Where is it? Answer: On Longbeach. That did not help. Is public transporation available? Answer: Yes is but I do not have any infomation on it, is the answer. I still do not know how to get there? A lawer would love to live here? I recomend the hotel, but have a good map and transportation of your own.
