  When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very polite and helpful. Once we made it to our room, we were pretty disappointed. It smelled very musty and the smell in the hall was even worse. We figured we'd give it a shot. Upon our return from an evening out, the smell which came from the room next door reminded me of a restraunts kitchen which smelled of grease and french fries. We went down stairs and they moved our room, much better. The pillows were the softest i've ever seen and very uncomfortable. I tried 8 different pillows from the 2 beds in our room. The ultimate straw that broke the camels back was the airconditioner. It was incredibly loud!!!!! It ran 3 minutes and was off for 3 minutes. It sounded like and airplanes' engine. We ened up just turning it off and went without..... The ""breakfast"" was pretty disappointing as well. I've had much better. It consisted of strong coffee, cereal, bread, bagels and a waffle station. I guess for a 1 night stay it would be ok, but for anything more than that, spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere nicer.

  I stayed one day for business, the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I have never slept so good in a hotel the beds and pillows were very comfortable and I did not here the usual noise I hear at hotels in the halls.

  The rooms are very quiet. the front desk staff were very nice and helped answer any of my questions. this stay was better than expected.

  I went to Sarasota for business and stayed at the AmericInn. The hotel was very clean and well kept and the decor was beautiful. I loved the beds and the down comforters and the Perkins room service was perfect after a long day. The staff was freindly and very helpful. The AmericInn was a wonderful place to stay.

  Th e rooms here were regular type not suites although they did have micro/fridges. desk was very small,no couch or recliner. breakfast was good with nice lobby. i ...

  Th e rooms here were regular type not suites although they did have micro/fridges. Desk was very small,no couch or recliner. Breakfast was good with nice lobby. I stayed here due to location and I couldn't get into my preferred place in the area.
