The room was Dirty. I paid extra to get an upgrade for nothing if the wide screen upgraded room looked like it did i would hate to see what a standard room was like. The linens were filthy and stained i complained a couple if times and no one came to change them. and in the pictures the room had comforters but they don't only sheets Not Safe. The Floors get so slippery that my kids fell down a number of times. my son hit the back of his head it was very scary. they told me that i should have used the provided bath mat. This bathmat was smaller than a towel. BAD customer service. I asked where i can get some information about a babysitting service and the woman at the front desk threw a phone book in front of me and said check here. i complained several times and no one cared. Not a place for family. Just because it looks like a castle doesn't mean that its for kids. The Jousting show was great that's the one nice thing i can say. But Midway arcade bad staff was rude as was the staff at the hotel. Don't let the price make your decision!

Everything was just as you would expect for a family hotel. Basic room only has shower but it was a large bathroom and a large room and overall a good value. You will be charged a resort fee but they give you some coupons to help out. Go ahead and get the all day buffet pass, basically one of the meals will then be free plus any extra trips!!

We upgraded to a "widescreen room", but other than the tv, there really wasn't much difference in the room......and not even complimentary coffee in the room either. The view was awful for an "upgrade room" too. We booked our trip in June of 2009, for Nov of 2009 travel & still didn't get the "king-size" bed we requested.....as we didn't land in Vegas until 10:30pm & I guess reserving that far in advance means squat. My second stay at Excalibur & will be my last!

This hotel is way too busy and loud. It is like spending time with a bunch of drunks all weekend. Seems like it is geared for the 20 something crowd. They are very pushy. Also the buffet was cold and the food dried out after 6pm. Not a good deal. Will not return here to stay

Would never go back again. Not clean. Old and needs updating. Wasn't impressed with go-go dancers - were not done in a hi profile style - very low class style. Ate at Dick's Restaurant and very low class. Cigarette butts crushed on floor near elevator - never vacuumed. Employee at Players Club Desk when leaving the hotel wasn't very well educated and couldn't understand her. This hotel really needs to be updated. Have stayed here when it opened and was very nice. Whoever is managing this hotel doesn't seem to care about quality of the hoitel. Soil stains on the ceiling - not taken care of. Didn't see much security around monitoring goings on upstairs in restaurant areas. I definitely wouldn't recommend. The dinner show was the best thing about the hotel - Tournament of Knights. Bottom sheets were not fitted - complained about that also. Trays were left outside rooms for days with no one picking them up. Don't include this hotel in your travel plans...Will be disappointed. We were on the 14th Floor and the rug was dirty for the entire week - never vacuumed (hallway). Loaded with young kids and walking around drunk - notlike other high class hotels we were in like the Wynn and Encore - Bellagio - another class of people than this one....
