The hotel room was very clean when we arrived. We did struggle with getting someone to clean our room and getting clean towels during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed on the 3rd floor ocean front. Balconies are not private, the only thing between your balcony and the room next to you is a small railing which is easily stepped over. The hotel has one elevator which was on the other side of the hotel from where our room was so we used the steps the whole time but that may be a consideration for someone who can not use the steps. The elevator is also very tiny and it was difficult to get the luggage rack in. We carried our stuff down the stairs when we left. The parking was decent. The lot was right in the hotel. The hotel is U shaped and you can actually see your car from your room. It said that they charge 3.00 per day to park but they didn't charge us. Hotel is very close to the beach but there was no umbrella service in front of our hotel.

We had a nice stay at the Mainsail Inn and Suites. The property is a bit older but the rooms are clean and nice. Don't expect a Hilton by any means but it served our needs just fine. Thanks for the nice vacation

June 22 2009 - June 29 2009 The hotel was in bad shape. The doors are all rusted, Drapes cover the A/C unit so the room does not cool off. There are hidden charges for a safe I never used and PARKING. You have to pay to park your car on their lot even though you paid to stay in the room. I will not recommend nor will I stay at this hotel again.

Oceanfront Efficiency is the way to go! Excellent view, good balcony size and decent kitchenette. Excellent staff, Chelsie at the desk was very accommodating to all of our needs. I would definitely stay again. Pool was very clean and plenty of chairs and loungers for everyone.

We were moved to this hotel after the hotel room we originally booked was flooded from a clogged A/C unit and they had no other available rooms. The accomodoations were acceptable give that the room had a seperate kitchenette and bedroom with a living area. Ceramic tile floors in the living area and kitchen meant no grimy sand in the carpet which was nice. The worst thing about the room was the water pressure in both showers was almost non-existant. We bought some CLR and cleaned the shower heads ourselves which helped alot. The parking area is VERY small and very tight... our one month old brand new vehicle came home with a scratch on the right rear fender where someone backed out too closely and hit our vehicle... no less without telling us and the hotel claims no responsibility for such things. The beach is just steps away and the pool is clean.
