We wanted to stay somewhere that we didn't have to rent a car to get around, and we didn't have to leave the hotel if we didn't want to. To vacation cheaply, but not feel like it. This place was perfect. We didn't get the all inclusive, but it was nice to have breakfast there every morning and the option of eating there when we wanted to. The snorkeling off the resort's edge was REALLY great, we saw more fish there than we did on our catamaran snorkeling trip. The fact that the ocean is just right there was great for the days we just wanted to chill out. Pool was very good. The room had what we needed and I didn't have any complaints about the hotel at all. And the guy that books the activities in the lobby was invaluable. He got the best price and knew who to call and took care of things that we didn't book ahead of time.

The front desk staff is surly and don't appear to want to be there. The food in the main restaurant was tolerable but the food at the 'beach club" can best be described as disgusting. The beach club made an error on my bill and came beating on my room door at 11:00 PM to get me to sign a new invoice. I asked if this couldn't wait till morning and all the guy had to say was oh well! The room was comfortable and the pool is nice.

Clean rooms, great pool area, and also a new beach. This is a great hotel for divers. Easy walk to the pier and pick up from several dive companies. Dive Paradise is our favorite. We chose to opt out of the All Incusive because we have found several nice restaurants downtown however a free breakfast was included and was terrific. About a 10 minute walk to downtown makes this a great location and the price is the best on the island for a hotel of this caliber. Would highly recommend.

We travel to Cozumel yearly but this was our first stay at the Hotel Cozumel. We were all satisfied and will definately stay there again. The food is good, the staff is friendly and fun, the rooms are clean and the pool is very nice. Only complaint would be there isn't a big beach but it looks like they are adding on and will soon have more beach area. If you are looking for a real fancy place, this isn't it. But, if you enjoy being treated like part of the family, this is the place for you. It is also within walking distance to town which save greatly on taxi fares.
