  The location is outstanding- central- with many interesting sites within walking distance; 10 minutes walk to the Dam to the west. The staff at this hotel were outstanding. From door to reception to concierge everyone was exceptional! The concierges were particularly helpful with setting up trips to Keukenhof Gardens and to the palace at Het Loo. We were upgraded to a suite at no charge, which was quite large by European standards; this room was nicely appointed with its marble bath though furnishings were not as lavish as I am used to seeing at 5-star hotels (no disrespect intended-just honesty-we are very grateful for the upgrade). If you are considering this hotel, you will not be disappointed, and it is a particularly good value for its price!
