Simply the Best! Great location and views of the Bay and the city are fabulous. No one does is better than the Ritz in Sarasota!! Service, friendliness, and overall ambiance makes every trip something to look forward to - business or leisure - it is always a pleasure to visit.

We stayed at the Ritz Sarasota last spring and are looking to return this spring. The hotel is beautiful and staff are welcoming and attentive. We stayed 1 week and loved that everyone was concerned if we were having a good experience. They all knew our names and genuinely were interested in making us feel at home. The Beach Club was awesome and truthfully the food and beverage service on the beach was better than in the restaraunts. We had the Sunday brunch which was very good but the service didn't compare to the service on the beach. Nothing bad just not as attentive. The brunch is expensive but is worth it. We are in the hospitality business so we are very picky. Everything regarding the Ritz Sarasota was as it should be, clean, cordial, welcoming and unassuming. Top rate in my familys' eyes. We have nothing but fond remembrances from Ritz Sarasota.

We arrived late at night and were given room 711.When we woke up the next morning we noticed the carpets in the room were in terrible condition.(stained to say the least)
We asked for a room change and were given a room at the 9th floor.The back light mirror was missing a screw and could not be adjusted and the maid left a dirty towel (small) on the bath faucet.
Not up to Ritz Carlton Standards -

I just stayed at the Ritz last weekend for my 1-year anniversary. What a great time! The room service, wait staff at several restaurants, room service and spa staff were all top notch! The constant tipping feels excessive after several days, but the service is so great its worth it. Take stacks of $5's and 10's to be prepared.
