Don't listen to all the negative reviews we were very pleased with our stay. After reading some of the reviews I wanted to chang our hotel, I'm glad I didnt the staff was very friendly and helpful.

my son was on his honeymoon and when he got there the first room was trash, the second room had a view of a dumpster,and the third room had 2 twin beds. he was told he would have to pay * dollars more a night for a bigger bed for the 2 of them to sleep together. i thought that was insane. i purchased that for them as a wedding gift which was * dollars. The hotel policy is the bed type is upon availability, buy were told they could upgrade for more money, so there were beds available. i would never recomend this hotel to anybody i know. I am taking this matter as high as i can go to get a partial or a full refund. my son and his new bride really deserved and needed this honeymoon and this is what they got.

The hotel was very nice but I'm a little disappointed with the management. I left a gold watch and necklace in my room; and I've tried through travel website to reach the hotel to try and get my things back. The hotel had us on hold them hung up on me. I tried again and the person on the phone from the hotel didn't speak English. I called Travel website back and they told me there was nothing else they could do. I would think my gold watch and gold necklace would go to lost and found, but since I can't get anyone on the phone I guess they are going to keep my things. I don't want to say that housekeeping took my watch and necklace, but since I can't get anyone on the phone, I feel someone knows something but won't say after all I live in NY and they are in Mexico.

Do your self a favor and pay a little bit more. We just got back from Cancun and we stayed at this resort, it was so nasty. There was not one thing at this resort that was nice, not even the help. They were so rude. Lets not even talk about the food , I wouldn't even feed that so called food to my dogs. Also what ever you do not not book any of your excursions from Viajes Caribe Maya, which is located right on the resort. They will take your money and you will not be able to go on your excursion. When you talk to someone about this, they will just tell you that you are rude and not care on bit about your money. I would never go back to this SO called RESORT. It starts from the room all the way to the beach, oh yeah if you want to shower or brush your teeth be ready for that smell. The beach was so dirty and smelled really bad. We could see the run off water pouring into the beach. Also be ready to get ripped off when you get to the airport, they will charge you alot of money just to take you 20 minutes away. I will never go back to that place and I will be spreading the word about this place and that the resort does not care about anything but money and not about you. You have been warned, you go there you will be very very unhappy.
