nice hotel
10/17/2009Rooms are clean and you have a refrigerater and food is delicous but expensive i recomend going down the block to denny,s for breackfast.

Me and my family just returned from a five day stay at Courtyard Marriot and it was absolutely wonderful. Staff was friendly and the room 316 was large and roomy. Our balcony was ocean view although it was full view of the 1st floor roof that would be my only complaint. My family and I spent most of our time seeing the sights driven by a local we hired to be our tour guide (it helps to speak spanish) but the time we spent at the hotel was very relaxing. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

This was a wonderful hotel. Beautiful . We asked for an upgrade and were given one with a beautiful ocean view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food and beverage manager introduced himself to us to assure we were being treated right. All staff were the very best we have ever met. Food and drinks were a little high but no more so than any resort. We absolutly loved this hotel. Only complaint is that the bathroom could have more light and maybe a little makeup mirror for us women who need glasses to see to apply makeup. But this was just a little inconvience.

This hotel chain never fails. They're very consistent. Very polite staff, has all the amenities of a nice hotel, the price was excellent. The standard rooms are a little bit smaller than what they appear in pictures, especially when there are 2 adults and 2 kids. The restaurants offerred good food for the price and their pina colada is excellent! The tourist guide, Miguel was very informative (Quest Tour) but please, don't include LOQUILLO BEACH - that was the filthiest beach I've ever come accross - not the water but the shore was full of garbage; used baby diaper, beer cans and bottles, everywhere - it was definitely a BAD EXPERIENCE! All the tourists were disgusted and we all agreed it was the longest 3 hours of our lives. Anyhow, the whole trip was great!

We recently got back from the Courtyard Isla Verde and had a wonderful time. The beach is beautiful. It is near the airport as others have noticed but that did not impact our enjoyment of the beach and pool area. The room was a bit old but clean and totally soundproof. We never heard a sound from the hallways ever. The beds were very comfortable. This hotel is relatively near to Old San Juan (a taxi ride away.) We also enjoyed a hiking trip to the rain forest and snorkeling booked through the hotel. The employees of this hotel were amazing. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and to recommend sights to see or restaurants to try. The restaurants and bars at the property are a bit expensive. However, when my husband and I wanted a light dinner at the bar one night the server happily split a sandwich on the menu for us and added a side salad to each of our plates. They also completely modified menu items for our son who has many food allergies. There is a good restaurant within walking distance called Metropole. " We had a great stay and would return.
