The front desk messed up our check-in and our reservations were incorrect. The front desk clerk was indifferent and even lied to us when she told us she had canceled our other reservation at the Marriott (I'm glad I double checked). The front desk manager said he would make it right and didn't. The general manager of the hotel never even responded. The restaurant and housekeeping people were excellent, but the extremely poor and incompetent front desk would keep me from returning here. My friend felt the same way.

Staying at the Hilton was an unforgettable experience. The Hotel is modern, with good facilities and the staff provided wonderful service. The location is excellent and the view from the rooms facing the Caribbean Sea was breathtaking. I would recommend this hotel to anyboy lloking for a safe, well-appointed facility with good access to the major touristic sites of the Dominican Republic.

My stay at this hotel was extremely enjoyable, and that was enhanced by the meticulous attentions of a hepful staff that left no stone unturned to have my every need satisfied. The location of the hotel on the Malecon is superb and the oceanview from the rooms was unbeatable. A short taxi ride takes you to the Zona Colonial and historic sites. I would recommend this hotel as a superior hotel , especially for the business oriented customer.

I am a picky American who insists on having the best of everything when selecting a hotel (my husband hates it). He is Dominican and we travel to DR often. This Hilton offers top quality lodging, food, and service. Most important, the sheets and linen were excellent. I liked the duvet cover. Most other hotels I viewed had bed spreads pulled over the pillows (ewe) and out dated furniture. Please get a room with the view of the ocean. I enjoyed my stay and will only stay at the Hilton while in DR (as long as the quality remains excellent).
