It's clean with a friendly staff in a decent location. We didn't know what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised. We had a suite. Three twin beds. It was sufficient as a place to have to come back and crash after long days in the city, before getting ready to go get dinner. There were two bathrooms in the suite. Shower had good water pressure, everything was always clean. (Take note: there are no hair dryers.) We read reviews on Travelocity complaining about the free continental breakfast so we were a little anxious about that -- but it was fine. Repetitive by day five, but not a bad deal if you just want some fruit or cereal, , hashbrowns, coffee or orange juice to help you get up and go. Also, this hotel is connected to the "Cosmopoliton Hotel" right down the street. The "Cosmopoliton" is a more upscale version. You can use the Cosmopoliton's business center, and catch the free shuttle from the "Cosmopoliton". There is also internet offered in your room (at least in the suite there was a computer), with the cost being $20HK an hour (less than three American dollars.) We'd go back and stay here again.

I am recommended by my college friends who were there last summer. The hotel is located in a good location which you will find shops and restaurants just minutes away. There are things I am impressed e.g. the color of the room, the bar, the friendly staff and beautiful lobby. Youngsters like me will find it a place of wonder!

Unfortunately, I wanted to save a little money, and from the reviews posted, I thought Cosmo would be good enough. However, if you care about hotel comfort like I do (& by no means am I high maintenance), I would recommend you pay a little more and consider a different hotel. My check-in at this hotel was a traumatic nightmare! The room stunk and I could not bear to settle in, much less breathe at all. As I asked for a different room, they were fully booked, aside from only one available room, which did not have any counter area in the bathroom, no soap, terrible carpeting, and yet, a room that smelt just as moldy as the first. For the sufficating feeling and great disappointment, I had to upgrade to an executive room, which was only decent. The reception assistng was not very friendly, instead I was apologizing... go figure! He, as he said, could not smell the moldy disgust that was fuming out from the AC. If you don't care at all about hotel quality, and just need a place to sleep, you may not mind this hotel. But, for those who want to breathe, what at least seems to be, clean air, this place is not for you. The Nooche Bar was not at all anything to rave about, neither their breakfast, which is served in the same bar in the mornings, after all the smoking and drinking the night before.

The hotel is within walking distance from Causeway Bay MTR station. The price is reasonable considering its location and clean rooms. You can choose what color you want for your room, orange, green or light yellow. There's also a pillow menu. Some rooms do not have a window view. The Nooch Bar at the lobby provides simple breakfast (breakfast was included during our stay) but lack of food variety. At night, there's a live band but there's no crowd. You can catch a free transport one block away at Cosmopolitian Hotel, which will ferry you to Causeway Bay MTR, Admiraty MTR & Central MTR.
