  We booked the room after seeing the hotel online. The pics are not what you see when you get there. The building is lime green with pink doors! We walked into the lobby and the staff was nice. We went to the room and for the money it seemed to be a great deal. After going to dinner we got on to the elevator to get to our room on the 6th floor and the elevartor stopped. I heard the cable snap.There were 7 of us in there including 2 children. After calling to the front desk the fire dept finally rescued us after 45 minutes. The did comp the night and offered us an additional stay at a discounted rate and I need a birthdya do over so I am going to take them up on this and hopefully the next stay will be much better. We will be staying on the ground floor or the second floor and take the elevator!!!

  We booked an oceanfront room online to take our kids to Daytona for spring break. When we arrived we were amazed at how deceiving the pictures of this hotel are online. It is not nice!!!! The room was filthy and an a side view, however the hotel says this was their ""oceanfront"" room. The lady at the front desk was rude. We decided we were not staying there and when I called the online company all I was told after nearly three hours on the phone was... they would charge me a fee for cancelling. Although, the room was nasty and not what we believed we were getting - I was to pay for this. We left anyway, the hotel forced online to charge us for one night and the rest was refunded several days later. If your want filth, lies, deceit, and rudeness - stay here!! Beware of this place and their staff.
