  Great hotel in downtown Frankfurt. Within walking distance from subway, train station, downtown businesses and residential areas as well. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The rooms are larger than other hotels in Europe, very modern and comfortable. TV was small but had many channels albeit most in German. Fridge with overpriced drinks, as usual. Rear of hotel is very quiet (for those that want peace, request rear rooms).
  
  The street in front of the hotel has two tramways lines, many bazaar shops close by for bargain hunters. Breakfast was included, very generous food, nothing warm however, with toast, cheeses, smoked salmon, yogourts, boiled eggs, fruit, pastries, cereal and delicious breads.
  
  The staff was really friendly and helpful. I?ve been to other hotels in Europe and for this price range, you can?t beat the service and quality of this hotel.
  Plenty of museums, parks, the river, downtown, shops, restaurants and scenic views within walking distance. Also easy access to the main train station, subways and airport, which is very close.
  
  They get one less star due to the size of the room, the lack of regular sheets for the bed (they use some sort of comforter instead) and no amenities in the hotel, which is a small hotel anyway. No a/c for those visiting during summer. I went during cold weather and it was really nice and warm in the room.
  
  I will definitely use this hotel again if I visit Frankfurt. The location is great. Everything is within walking distance, the good, the bad and the ugly (for those who don?t like sex shops, for example). You can experience the true Frankfurt without spending any money on taxis, just walking around.

  This was my second stay in this hotel. last visit was in 2006. staff is very helpful. husband is here for work & i come to visit. nearby to shopping and ...

  This was my second stay in this hotel. Last visit was in 2006. Staff is very helpful. Husband is here for work & I come to visit. Nearby to shopping and sites. Train station is 3 blocks away, nice walking distance. Visit Germany at least once a year and will keep using the Memphis as my first night in country.
